Short-term Course

GraceJolie 2-Day Masterclass

GraceJolie 2-Day Masterclass

March 7-8, 2026

Location TBA

→ For Florists who would like to elevate their designs

Gracejolie is known for her deeply poetic floral language — airy yet structured, expressive yet precise. With years of experience designing and teaching across Asia, her work embodies the refined elegance of Korean floristry.

As someone who was once her student, and stood in awe witnessing her floral magic firsthand — it’s a full-circle moment for me to welcome GraceJolie to BAFA as our very first international guest floral instructor.

This 2-day masterclass is deeply rooted in the Korean floral design perspective, focusing on advanced techniques in composition, texture, storytelling, and more — the same artistry that continues to move and inspire me since the first time I saw her create.

An experience designed for florists ready to evolve.

Day 1. Line Composition

We will create linear compositions that highlight beautiful lines of flowers, leaves and wood.

Day 1. Fruit or Vegetable Composition

FAQs

What is BAFA?

Blooms Artisan Floral Academy (BAFA) is a floral design academy in the Philippines.

We are the IFDA Philippines branch offering:

  • Floral design workshops
  • Styling classes
  • Official IFDA Korea certifications (Preserved and Fresh flowers)

Founded by Catyah — the first IFDA Korea-certified floral instructor in the Philippines.

What is IFDA?

IFDA (International Flower Design Association) is a Korean floral education institute recognized by:

  • The Korean Ministry of Education
  • KRIVET (Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training)

IFDA sets the global standard for professional floral design certification.

What’s the difference between a Florist & Instructor Certification?

  • Florist Certification (Short-Term Courses): Ideal for those starting or running their floral business.
  • Instructor Certification (Full Course): For those who want to teach and mentor others. This is internationally recognized and reviewed by IFDA Korea, which is officially listed under KRIVET — Korea’s national body for vocational education.

Who certifies me?

Your certification comes from IFDA Korea.

After completing your course here in IFDA Philippines through BAFA, we’ll submit a portfolio of your work for official review and approval.

Certification is granted directly by IFDA Korea. Additionally, if you opt to get certified as an Instructor, a qualification exam should be passed by the student.

Who is KRIVET?

KRIVET is the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training — the official body that oversees vocational certification standards in South Korea.

IFDA is recognized by KRIVET, so your certification carries real weight — even globally.

Do I need to fly to Korea?

Nope!

You can take the exact same curriculum and earn your official Korean certification right here in the Philippines, through BAFA — the only official IFDA partner school in the country.
